  Tibet number one palace-Yungbulhakang

Lhoka is the cultural birthplace of Tibetan national minorities. There are a lot of outstanding people born there. It has created magnificent and colorful culture. Lhoka has the multitudinous cultural relics, ancient books and the extremely rich traveling resources. It has grand mountains and sacred lakes. In Yarlung, there are 7 big scenic areas with 58 scenic spots. It is a perfect entertainment place.

Lhoka (locus: Zetang town, Kedong County) altogether has 596 administrative villages, 56 townships, 24 towns and 12 counties. The total territory area is 79,700 square kilometers. The total population of Lhoka is 318,000 including 14 nationalities, such as Tibetans, Moinba ethnic minority, Lhoba ethnic group and so on. Tibetan nationality accounts for 96%.

Lhoka has 9 national level cultural relics preservation units, 10 municipal level cultural relics preservation units and 26 county level cultural relics protection units. Tibetan historical sites include: Tibet number one palace-Yungbulhakang, Tibet number one monastery-Samye Monastery, Tibetan Kings' graves and so on.
