Tibetan-language Chinese Tripitaka has been undergoing collation for 20 years. Zhou Hua, executive deputy director general of the Chinese Tripitaka collation bureau, said that at present Tengyur has already completed collation while Kangyur is at the mop-up phase. They will strive to complete collation for Kangyur by the end of 2007 and the work will be finished no later than June 2008. The whole Tibetan-language Chinese Tripitaka will finish collation at that time.
