To protect and promote splendid traditional Tibetan culture is the tenet of China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture. In order to make more insightful person in the world to understand, come to and love Tibet and provide a platform for the Tibetan culture exchanges, China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture decides to hold Tibetan Culture Forum in Beijing on 10-11 October, 2006.

This forum is willing to invite some well-known personages from some countries, experts and scholars of tibetology domestic and abroad, overseas Tibetan compatriot representatives, partial directors of CAPDTC. The theme of this forum is Preservation and Development of Tibetan culture and it includes four parts which are conference speech, Tibetan culture exhibition, visiting in Beijing and visit Tibet by train. All the participants can deliver and exchange their ideas, research and discuss issues through conference speeches and they will have a deep understanding of the profound and charming Tibetan culture through on-site visit and research.
