The Association is named ¡° China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture¡±( CAPDTC).
As a nationwide nonprofit public body with an independent legal person status, the Association is a non-governmental organization consisting of volunteers both at home and abroad who love Tibetan culture and care for its preservation and development.
The purposes of the Association are: to abide by the Constitution and the laws and regulations of the People¡¯s Republic of China as well as policies of the State; make extensive contacts with organizations and personages concerned both at home and abroad; endeavor to preserve and develop Tibetan culture, protect human rights, and promote unity, harmony and common prosperity of people of all ethnic groups in Tibet.
Registered on the book of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People¡¯s Republic of China, the Association is subject to the Ministry¡¯s supervision, inspection and administration. |
